About the Daikin SkyAir™ FBA Ducted
The Daikin SkyAir FBA (RZA-AAVJU outdoor, FBA-AAVJU indoor) is a step up from residential mini-split systems into commercial-grade territory. The RZA outdoor unit is a commercial-class heat pump designed for large-capacity applications, and the FBA indoor unit is a concealed ducted air handler that installs above the ceiling.
The FBA air handler connects to supply and return ductwork, allowing conditioned air to be distributed through one or multiple registers throughout the space. This makes the SkyAir FBA suitable for applications requiring airflow to multiple areas from a single indoor unit — such as a large office suite, retail floor, or restaurant.
SkyAir systems are designed for reliability in demanding environments. The RZA outdoor unit is built to commercial standards and features robust construction for long service life. The system operates on R-32 refrigerant and features Daikin's inverter technology for efficient, variable-speed operation.
