About the Daikin OTERRA™ 115V
The Daikin OTERRA 115V (RXQ-ASB outdoor, FTXQ-ASB indoor) is a specialized mini-split system that operates on standard 115-volt single-phase power — the same voltage as most standard home outlets. This makes it ideal for spaces where running new 240V electrical service would be expensive or impractical.
Despite running on 115V power, the OTERRA 115V delivers impressive 20 SEER2 efficiency and genuine heat pump operation with an HSPF2 of 9.0. The 9,000 BTU model can cool spaces up to 400 square feet while the 12,000 BTU model handles up to 500 square feet comfortably.
Common applications in Phoenix include detached garages, workshops, ADUs (accessory dwelling units), shed offices, pool houses, and any space where 240V service isn't available.
